I make having a website easy.

Fifteen years of building, hosting and quietly maintaining small websites — mostly for people who would rather be doing their own work than thinking about mine.

I started out as a designer who could code, which in 2011 meant being the only person in the room who knew why the site was slow. That turned into a practice: design, build, host, and stay on the hook for it afterwards — the last part being the one nobody else wanted.

Today I work with a small number of clients at a time. One monthly price covers the hosting, the updates, the small changes, and the phone call when something breaks.

Mazaryk — websites, cared for

38 sites under maintenance, sold as one thing.

2017

The over-engineered years

Headless everything, for a team of one. A useful mistake.

2011

First client, first invoice

A restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Still online.
